Moving from Michigan to Scottsdale was a little hard on my green thumb. I (David) have always had lush beautiful gardens with lots of green grass and color. I wanted to create the same type of gardens at my home in north Scottsdale. It was a bit of a challenge at first but over time I discovered what plants did well with the hot Scottsdale heat and then which ones would not survive our couple days of below freezing temperatures in the winter. 

After eleven years the gardens are something I am very proud of!
