We would like to wish all of our friends and clients a wonderful holiday season. At this time of year we look back and count our blessings - for the many gifts given to us by our mares and the countless smiles our four-legged family members have put on our face and we are thankful for all of our friends and family.

Not to much excitement going on during the winter months, Kattrina's belly is swollen with the promise of new life and BB and Checkers are under lights to prepare for the springtime breeding season. Max has started his performance training and is showing excellent potential as a western pleasure horse. We have placed Max with John Lambert of Lambert Arabians, LLC. John and his wife Lynda own a small training facility located in Mason, Michigan where the program is based on quality training and honesty. John Lambert, with more than 15 years of show ring experience with Arabians and Half-Arabians, has worked for some of the most known names in the business - Rooker Training Stable, Jim Lowe and Ray LaCroix. We are looking forward seeing Max in the show ring next spring.

We are busy planning a special advertising spread for our business "The Arabian Horse Network" at www.arabhorse.com and our clients in the February/March issue of International Arabian Horse. We are also finalizing our plans on a trip to visit friends in Scottsdale and then we are on to California in January. Visiting a warmer climate certainly helps us deal with the cold Michigan winters.

Have a great New Year.

Your friends,
David & Scott

What a summer we have had! Checkers had a very nice grey colt by Sanadik El Shaklan and BB gave us a gorgeous bay filly by Afire Bey V. This was BB's 15th foal and her first bay, we think she is pretty special; even though we have already had people wanting to purchase this filly she will be retained for our breeding program. Both foals are pictured below. Since BB's filly was born so late in the year we left her open for next year and plan on getting an early start in the spring. We are planning on breeding BB to Padron's Psyche and by embryo to Afire Bey V in the spring of 2003.

The AHAM Breeders Futurity was held on September 13th & 14th, both Desert Rose and Maximus were shown. Desert Rose was second in her class and Max won his class. Both showed very nice and did us proud as usual! Max will be started under saddle this December. We think he is going to make a very nice Western Pleasure horse. He is available for purchase, you can see him on our sales list.

We had a great time at Nationals last month as we always do. We enjoy seeing our friends almost as much as we enjoy watching the horses. Two SWF horses were shown, SWF Covergirl in Western Pleasure AOTR 18-39 with her owner Lynn Knapp and SWF Central Park in Half Arabian Country Pleasure Driving with Bob Bataglia. Parker was National Top Ten, this puts this mares incredible show record at 10 National titles. We are very proud of both of these very talented mares, their handlers, and their dedicated owners.

Thanks for stopping by and spending sometime with us,
David & Scott
